We are a Colombian-Swiss initiative dedicated to the protection and restoration of the tropical rainforest.
Our origin
The project began as a family initiative by Gladys Ospina and Francisco Giraldo. Fieldwork in Cimitarra started back in 1985 with the goal of conserving local biodiversity.
The team in Colombia
Daily implementation on the ground is carried out by our dedicated local team, led by Alexander Giraldo. They plant the seedlings, maintain the corridors, and work hand in hand with the community.
The Swiss board
Our association in Switzerland supports the work on the ground. The entire board is 100% volunteer, meaning there are zero administrative costs and every donation goes directly to Colombia.
